The CNGE1IPS of ComNetTM is an industrial midspan power injection module over Ethernet (PoE +) that injects 56 VDC at 0.625 amps to any network cable. Operating power and 10/100 / 1000T (X) Ethernet data are easily combined into a single cable, eliminating the need to install additional power outlets and electrical cable. The CNGE1IPS is fully compatible with the requirements of IEEE 802.3at for Power Supply Equipment (PSE), and has automatic detection of powered devices (PDs). Transmission distances up to 100 meters are supported, and this injector provides operating power for all powered devices that extracts a maximum of 30 watts. The unit provides AC line powered device over voltage protection and short circuit. Ideally suitable for fiber optic, wireless, or other networks where it may be difficult to provide the operating power to the powered devices, the CNGE1IPS is a true plug-and-play product that does not require user configuration or installation.
